New Engine

The Members of HFD and the Truck Committee would like to extend our true appreciation to the Village of Hamilton administration for support and aggreement to purchace a new Engine. As of this month, the Village of Hamilton, Hamilton Fire Department have entered into contract with Seagrave to build the new Engine. Members of the committee started work back in 2018, working with Salt City Fire Equipment laying out or needs on this new truck. As 2019 moved on we were almost ready to submit the plans, then the COVID pandemic hit. Out of good faith, the members of HFD set the plans aside because of all the financial uncertainty that went along with COVID. This past fall, the members picked up where we left off, finalizing the last of details and the spec was submitted.

On Wednesday December 6, 2017 Chief Murrray and FF Fallon Jeffers attended the 19th annual Real Heroes Breakfast presented by the American Red Cross where the Earlville and Hamilton Fire Departments both received the 2017 Real Heroes Fire Rescue Award.
