Some of the highlights from the past few months:Covid shut down everything in Hamilton, and all Colgate students were sent home. Fountain Fire Company saw the need to keep as many of our student members in town, and ready for response.
Just before 11 pm, Hamilton Fire was alerted mutual aid to Earlville for a commercial fire on the Chenango county side of their district. Ladder 197 and Rescue 195 responded on the assignment, Earlville Asst.
In the early morning hours, Hamilton FD was alerted by Madison County 911 for a mutual aid request to Earlville Fire for the Tower ladder and a tanker on a confirmed chimney fire. Around 5:30 this afternoon, Madison County Alerted Earlville, Hamilton and Hubbardsville for a working barn fire @ the corner of East Main and Earlville Road. Earlville 15011 (McGregor) arrived confirming a well involved barn fire, with the main house now being involved due to close proximity.

Hamilton Fire was alerted just after 6 am this morning for a structure fire on the Betts Road. Chief Murray was first to arrive finding a 1 story raised ranch style home with fire on the A-D corner of the house, starting in the garage working to the structure.
